Data we collect

When you sign in to the platform through Google, LinkedIn, or GitHub, we collect basic information, such as your name and email address, to personalize your experience and improve the service.

Cookies

We use cookies to identify user sessions and make the platform easier to use. These cookies are automatically deleted when you sign out.

If a payment gateway is used, the authorized payment processor may set its own cookies to secure the transaction and prevent fraud. Those cookies are subject to that processor's own privacy policy.

What others can see

When you like an update on the platform, your name and profile picture may appear to other users within the list of people who liked that update.

Message read receipts

When a message is read on the platform, we record the time it was read and show it to whoever sent it, whether it is a direct message between two members or a message the platform's administration sent as part of a bulk send. Read receipts are always on for every member, and there is no setting that turns them off. We state this so that you know what the other side sees before you send.

Sharing with third parties

We undertake not to sell or share any personal information with any third party, except where there is a clear legal or technical obligation consistent with this privacy policy.

Sponsorships and supporting partnerships have no effect on the privacy policy adopted at Mortakaz, and do not entail sharing any user or project data with any external party.

When you click financial contribution links, you may be directed to external platforms that are subject to their own privacy policies. The Mortakaz platform neither collects nor stores any data relating to financial contribution transactions, and does not view any financial information belonging to users.

Payment data

Bank card data is neither collected nor stored on Mortakaz servers. When any paid service becomes available, payment data is processed in full by authorized payment processors under their own privacy policies, and we see only what is needed to confirm the transaction, such as its status, its date and its amount.
